Edit Waypoints

A Waypoint is the name we give to any location marking a hazard or a target on each hole. For example, it might be the edge of a pond, a large tree, the back edge of a bunker or anything else you might want to know the distance for. To create or change the Waypoints, go to the hole in question on the main screen (see "Moving to Another Hole") and select "Edit Waypoints" from the main menu. You should then see a list of the Waypoints that already exist.
Adding a Waypoint
From the menu choose "New". Type in a description ("Name") and then go and stand at the location being marked. Press the button to "Set the Position to Here".

It is probably easiest to create the Waypoints before going out on the golfcourse. Leave the positioning until you are actually out there though! You can create up to ten on each hole – you choose where.

If the display is not large enough to show all the Waypoints, scroll up and down.

Change a Waypoint
Highlight the Waypoint to be altered and select "Edit" from the menu. You can then change the description and/or the position of the item. To change the position, highlight the button marked "Set the Position to Here" and click. Bear in mind that this will postion this Waypoint to wherever you physically are on earth at that moment (assuming that your device can see the GPS satellites)!
